Core Conversion

Upgrading technology and services.

In 2018, WHFCU underwent a conversion of their core systems. Since most members probably wouldn't understand that terminology, we decided to market this process as a technology and service upgrade. The process did update both online banking and mobile banking and offered enhancements to bill pay, checking account balances,  transferring funds between accounts, among other features. We provided digital marketing services for this campaign including banner ads and landing pages on the website and mobile apps, a FAQ page for members to be updated as information became available and a services of emails detailing the process.

The website included an information page that kept membership updated as information became available, a calendar of events on what was happening when, as well as an FAQ page to help minimize members feeling the need to contact the credit union with their specific questions on individual impact.


A series of emails were sent to membership to inform about branch closures, updates and upon conversion completion, links to the new online banking portal and mobile banking apps.



On average, our Core Conversion email marketing delivered a 26% open rate.
